The National Land Monetization Corporation held a pre-bid meeting in New Delhi on 3 November for the e-auction of a 5.119-acre land parcel of HIL (India) Limited on Rohtak Road, with a reserve price of ₹829.69 crore.
NLMC, under the Department of Public Enterprises in the Finance Ministry, said the parcel is offered for outright sale and carries development potential of FSI 400 under applicable transit-oriented development provisions. HIL (India) and transaction adviser CBRE India took part to brief prospective bidders on location, land use, eligibility and terms, and the request for proposal.
Third e-auction in two months
This is the third e-auction publicly advertised by NLMC in the last two months, which the ministry says reflects the government's push to monetise surplus and underutilised land of central public sector enterprises. NLMC CEO Rohan Chand Thakur said the aim is to unlock value through "transparent, structured and competitive processes".
