Film-tech startups can apply for a pavilion at WAVES Bazaar during IFFI Goa 2026

Startups working in film and related technology can now apply to show their products at the WaveX Startup Pavilion, part of WAVES Bazaar at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa in 2026.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has opened applications. The pavilion is meant to give startups a platform to present products, technologies and solutions to the national and international film and media industry, and to network with filmmakers, production houses and investors.

Who can apply

Applications are open to startups registered with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) that operate in film and related technology. A Selection Committee constituted by WaveX will screen and evaluate them.

The registration form and details are at wavex.wavesbazaar.com. Queries can go to the WaveX email address given in the release. The release does not give a closing date or the festival dates.

Background

WaveX, the WAVES Startup Accelerator, is a startup accelerator and incubation initiative of the ministry. It backs startups in animation, visual effects, gaming, comics, extended reality and media technologies. IFFI, set up in 1952, is held annually in Goa.
