The Department of Justice says it cleared all the pending matters it identified under Special Campaign 6 and earned ₹2,41,000 by auctioning e-waste and scrap.
The department followed guidelines from the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances. Phase I, the preparatory phase from 15 to 30 September 2026, identified the work. Phase II, from 2 to 31 October, was for clearing it and for cleaning and beautifying sites.
What was identified
The department listed 211 public grievances, 309 grievance appeals, five references from MPs, two parliamentary assurances, one PMO reference, four references from state governments and one inter-ministerial reference (a Cabinet note). It also marked 20 physical files for review and weeding out, four sites at Jaisalmer House, New Delhi for cleaning, and 49 e-waste and scrap items for disposal.
Results
It cleared all identified pending matters within the stipulated time. The 49 items were auctioned on the GeM portal for ₹2,41,000, and about 300 square feet of space was freed.
