The Department of Land Resources says it met its target of cleanliness campaigns in and around its premises and disposed of all public grievances and appeals in Special Campaign 6, which ran from 2 to 31 October 2026.
Part of the Ministry of Rural Development, the department also disposed of 21 references from Members of Parliament.
Records and workspace
It reviewed 1,449 physical files and 501 e-files for recording, weeding out and closure, and says the campaign helped use office space better and dispose of redundant material.
Staff wellbeing
The department held yoga sessions at the Rejuve Wellness Centre at its Shivaji Stadium Annexe office, debate and painting competitions on cleanliness themes, and a session on mental health.
The release does not give figures for scrap revenue or space freed.
