DRDO to showcase indigenous defence technology to partner nations at VISV-2026

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) will show partner nations its indigenous defence technology at VISV-2026, an event to be inaugurated by Raksha Rajya Mantri Sanjay Seth on 30 October at Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi.

VISV stands for Vision, Innovation, Synergy, Values. It is organised by DRDO with the Centre for Joint Warfare Studies (CENJOWS) under the theme "Showcasing Defence Capabilities, Strengthening Global Partnerships".

Who will attend

The event will bring together the defence establishment, industry, academia and the diplomatic community to familiarise international partners with India's research, development and production, and to explore technology-led cooperation.

What is on the agenda

Technical sessions will cover DRDO's work in aeronautical systems, land and naval systems, sensing and communications, missile systems, microelectronics, computational solutions and soldier support systems. A panel discussion will look at joint collaboration and capability development with friendly nations.

The Ministry of Defence said DRDO seeks, through the event, to advance technological self-reliance and international defence partnerships. The announcement does not name the participating countries.
