The Department of Justice will hold a workshop on "eFiling 3.0: From Process to Practice" in New Delhi on 4 November, to familiarise government officials with the eCourts electronic filing platform.
The workshop is part of the eCourts Mission Mode Project and will begin at 2 pm in Hall No. 5, Vigyan Bhawan. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal is to attend, along with members of the Supreme Court's eCommittee.
Programme
National Informatics Centre officers will run sessions on how eCourts works, eCourts single sign-on and the eCourts Services mobile app, and eFiling 3.0 features for Government Pleaders and departments, followed by open discussion.
Phase III of the eCourts Project aims at end-to-end digital, paperless courts and universal adoption of eFiling across all courts. The ministry notes that government bodies account for a substantial share of litigation, which is why officials are the audience.
