The Central Bureau of Narcotics has seized 595.420 kg of poppy straw powder hidden in the floor of a truck in Madhya Pradesh and arrested two people.

Acting on specific intelligence, officers of the bureau's MP Unit intercepted a Punjab-registered Tata truck near Badnawar in Dhar district. A joint team had kept watch along the suspected route. A search found 60 plastic bags of the powder in a specially built cavity in the truck's floor.
