National Informatics Centre Services Incorporated (NICSI), the government IT services company under the National Informatics Centre, cleared old and unused material from its offices in Delhi-NCR during Special Campaign 6.0.
Staff began with a cleanliness pledge. Offices were cleaned at its headquarters at Bhikaji Cama Place and at the World Trade Centre, where unwanted material was removed and outside areas cleaned. Corridors, common areas and washrooms were cleaned at NICSI New Delhi, SPDC Noida and LNDC.
NICSI says the drive freed space taken up by obsolete items. It plans to keep the results through regular housekeeping, periodic review and weeding of records, and timely disposal of unusable assets.
The release does not give figures for space freed, files weeded or scrap sold.
