The Union Public Service Commission has declared the final result of the Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2026: 243 candidates qualified across three academies.
The lists cover 155, 63 and 25 candidates for the 162nd course at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun; the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala; and the Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (No. 221 F(P) course). Some candidates appear in more than one list.
Vacancies
- Indian Military Academy: 100, including 13 reserved for NCC 'C' certificate holders
- Indian Naval Academy: 26, including 6 for NCC 'C' holders and 1 for Hydro
- Air Force Academy: 32, including 3 for NCC 'C' holders
The written test qualified 2,601, 770 and 640 candidates for the three academies, before SSB interviews. Medical results are not counted and candidature is provisional pending verification of date of birth and educational qualifications.
