Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open the four-day Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Monday, 2 November, at around 4:30 pm.

The summit, themed 'Invest. Innovate. Inspire.', runs from 2 to 5 November. The Prime Minister's Office said it will draw participants from over 130 countries, including more than 40 ministers, alongside policymakers, investors, financial institutions and industry leaders.

Who is taking part

Australia, Denmark, the European Union, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom are Country Partners. Thirteen states and Union Territories will showcase their renewable energy potential, investment opportunities and manufacturing capabilities: Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.

Three platforms under one roof

The summit is being held alongside the 9th Session of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) Assembly and the 4th International Conference on Green Hydrogen (ICGH). Bharat RE will focus on investment, industry and technology partnerships; the ISA Assembly on international cooperation in solar energy, including finance and institutional capacity; and the ICGH on green hydrogen technologies, investment and scale-up.

What is on the programme

There will be plenary sessions, ministerial discussions, CEO roundtables, country and state sessions, and business-to-business, business-to-government and government-to-government meetings. The expo will host over 400 exhibitors across solar and wind power, green hydrogen, energy storage and other areas.

Bharat RE 2026 builds on RE-INVEST, which the release calls India's flagship renewable energy investment summit.
